In the Brest region, 13 electronic job fairs are planned to be held in February, as BelTA was told by the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.
The first electronic fair of this month was held yesterday in Kobrin. Employment options will be offered on February 13 in Kamenets, and on February 15 in Baranovichi and Ivanovo district. Events in this format are scheduled for February 21 in Pinsk and Drogichinsky districts, on February 22 - in Berezovsky, Ivatsevichi and Pruzhansky districts, on February 23 - in Brest and Luninetsky districts. Electronic fairs are also planned to be held on February 27 in the Lyakhovichi district, and on February 28 in Brest.
You can join the job fair by going to the website e-vacancy.by. HR staff will answer applicants' questions. Those interested will be able to get advice and learn about working conditions, send a resume and receive an invitation to an interview in real time.
As of February 1, there are almost 17.3 thousand vacant jobs at enterprises and organizations in the Brest region. Of these, 70.2% are in blue-collar professions. In the region, the most in demand are car drivers, engineers, medical specialists and nurses, veterinarians, tractor drivers, masons, salesmen, seamstresses, cooks, and loaders.
In January 2024, a little more than 1.5 thousand residents of the region applied for assistance in finding employment, including almost 560 who received unemployed status. Employment service specialists helped about 1.2 thousand men and women find jobs, of which more than 430 were unemployed.
